Cheri has got to stay on Spanish cinemas during 13 weeks. At least the movie can be watched in a cinema at the moment getting $96 and taking the #68 place on the ranking, it means that the film has remained more than the rest of countries where it has been launched. The total Spanish gross has been $577,016.
The truth is that it hasn’t got a great box office since the movie was released in the country too late, January 29 of 2010, and in very little cinemas.
Sadly, we all …

I guess most of pfans have a big thorn in our side since the treatment of Personal Effects, at least I have.
Director David Hollander began the blog “Letters Home From Hollywood” at post-gazette.com, from his native Pittsburgh where the writer-director chronicles his work on TV series and movies. And his latest post is about the debut of his Lifetime movie, “Personal Effects.”
Case in point, last weekend, my film “Personal Effects” made its television premiere on Lifetime. This film was a very long effort, its genesis occurring back in 2002 when …

At the moment, nothing about the “new project” How To Make Love Like An Englishman seems official, at least if Michelle Pfeiffer has finally signed to be or not (although it seems sure that Pierce Brosnan has done).
From ScreenDaily it’s coming news about the international distribution of the project, if this week we talked about the distribution in Germany and Benelux countries by Splendid Film, it is now the distribution company DeAplaneta which has acquired the rights of the project to launch the movie in Spain.
But the news just talks …

You know Personal Effects was released on Lifetime the last weekend, and it seems that it has worked well… what had happened if the movie had been release on cinemas?
Well, according E! Online, if TV watchers were moviegoers, Ashton Kutcher and Michelle Pfeiffer’s Personal Effects would have made a respectable $13 million, à la My Sister’s Keeper, assuming the 1.8 million who caught the straight-to-DVD flick in its Lifetime debut each bought a ticket at the average price of $7.18.
I think the movie would have been able to get a nice …
