Michelle Pfeiffer gets her star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame

Michelle Pfeiffer added her name to Hollywood’s star-studded “Walk of Fame” —at 6801 Hollywood Blvd in front of the Hollywood and Highland complex— on Monday, 6th of August, 2007, before paying tribute to her mother for helping inspire her showbusiness career.

Michelle was present at a ceremony to mark the unveiling of the 2,345th star on Hollywood Boulevard.

Pfeiffer said her mother had been instrumental in her success: “There are so many people that go into the making of an actor’s career, and first and foremost I want to thank my mother, who isn’t here right now,” Pfeiffer said. “She taught me that I could do anything and that I should have a career before I get married. My father taught me that you can make something of yourself if you work hard”

Also appearing at the ceremony were her “The Fabulous Baker Boys” co-star Jeff Bridges and Paul Rudd, her co-star in the romantic comedy “I Could Never Be Your Woman“, and her family: her husband, the producer David E. Kelley (‘Ally McBeal‘, ‘Boston Legal‘ and ‘Picket Fences‘), her daughter, Claudia Rose, and son, John Henry.

“You are two of the nicest men on the planet,” she told her partners.

Pfeiffer has returned to the big-screen with a vengeance this year after a five-year absence following her appearance in 2002’s “White Oleander.”

And Pfeiffer shows no signs of resting on her laurels, as she takes to the big screen this year with “Stardust” alongside Robert De Niro and is also appearing in musical comedy “Hairspray” with John Travolta.
