Germany as producer and filming set for "Cheri" May 14, 2008
Two days ago Variety reported that MMC Independent, a German production company, was set to co-produce Stephen Frears' Cheri with Michelle Pfeiffer.
As we had reported, Miramax and Pathe are in line to distribute the film - which is produced by Bill Kenwright and Tracey Seaward. Writer Christopher Hampton, Andras Hamori, Richard Temple, Francois Ivernel and Cameron McCracken are handling executive producing duties.
The co-production deal was signed on May 13th by Hamori and Ralf Schmitz, CEO of Cologne-based studio MMC in the presence of Andreas Krautscheid, North Rhine-Westphalia's state minister for federal and European affairs, at the state chancellery in Dusseldorf.
Today, we have known —thanks Dennis— that this deal could be due to part of the movie will be filmed in Cologne. It is scheduled that Michelle visit the city to set her scenes falling May.
Besides we can see the very first still online of the movie! An amazing picture of a beautiful Pfeiffer dressed by Consolata Boyle, the costume designer or the movie and who was nominated for the Academy Awards for her work dressing to Helen Mirren for The Queen.

Michelle Pfeiffer's Catwoman at Metropolitan Museum of Art May 6, 2008
"Superheroes: Fashion and Fantasy" runs at the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York from May 7 to September 1 with an opening red-carpet gala on Monday night that was to include former "Batman" star George Clooney and actress Julia Roberts alongside designer Giorgio Armani. Sadly our Michelle Pfeiffer didn't attend the event.
The exhibit examines how Superman, Batman, Spider-Man and others have influenced big-name fashion designers. The feminine figure is represented by characters such as Wonder Woman and Catwoman.
In the mirrored exhibition hall, superhero costumes are juxtaposed with the fashion they have influenced, largely a collection of active sportswear and outlandish garb more fit for a Halloween party than a night out at the theater.
Among the costumes on display is the Pfeiffer's remarkably slim black catsuit from 1992's "Batman Returns," and in addition there are real-world examples of dominatrix-style outfits by Mugler and Dolce & Gabbana.

Michelle Pfeiffer on the list of the "Most Beautiful" of People May 1, 2008
Michelle Pfeiffer comes back to be among the "Most Beatiful People on the World" according the famous list of People magazine, with Kate Hudson on the cover.
Let's remember Michelle was the cover of the first edition of this list in 1990, and would repeat in 1999. During all those years she was in the list uninterruptedly. On the other hand, we have to say, the list not only look at the beauty of people, but also it measures the grade of fame of the stars. So if Michelle has been way of the big-screen the latest years, she has been out of the list...
Also let's talk that Michelle Pfeiffer was the only star, alongside Julia Roberts (2000-2005), being cover twice.
