Sadly the Dvd haven't new features, you

| Michelle
Pfeiffer attended the opening of the Center
for the Intrepid
January
29, 2007 |
| Michelle
Pfeiffer attended the opening of
the Center for the
Intrepid and additions to the Fischer
House facilities to treat soldiers wounded
in combat at Brooke Army Medical Center
in San Antonio, Texas.
With her also they were her husband David
E Kelley and her son John
Henry.
It means the first event which is attended
by Michelle since two years ago, when
she attended The
Fashion Group International's 21st Annual
Night Of Stars to support her friend
Giorgio Armani!
You can see the three pictures of the
event at Red
Carpet Gallery in the Opening
for the Center For The Intrepid section.

| Limited
release for 'I could Never Be Your Woman'?
January
24, 2007 |
| According
ComingSoon.net,
I Could Never Be
Your Woman is now slated for
a Feb 16th limited release, and the new
distributor will be Freestyle
Releasings.
Juanita,
one faithful colaborators of this site,
says that if that's the case, then this
movie is screwed even more than before.
feb 16th is right around the corner, and
there is no new trailer, no tv spots,
no poster, no publicity from the stars,
etc.
I don't know the distributor, but according
Juanita it
isn't good at all. the distributor only
releases films in very few cities, and
then they go quickly to DVD.
So today it is a sad news again! More
info in ComingSoon.net.
Thanks Juanita
for the info. |
| 'To
Gilliam on her 37th Birthday' on Dvd in
Europe
January
24, 2007 |
| Sony
Pictures Home Entertainment has announced
the release of To
Gillian on Her 37th Birthday for
the 15th of January, priced at around
£12.99. The disc will feature an
anamorphic widescreen (1.85:1) transfer
and Dolby Digital 5.0 audio, but no bonus
material will be present on the disc.
So finally To
Gilliam on Her 37th Birthday has
been released on dvd in Region 2, it has
been presented in UK, I hope it will be
released soon in the rest of Europe: Spain,
France, Germany, Italy, etc.
Let's remember this movie was filmed
in 1996 and Michelle
Pfeiffer had a small role on it
(like a cameo). Her husband, David
E Kelley, was the screen-writer
and it was the first time that Michelle
and Claire Danes
worked together (remember Stardust
is coming!)

| confirmed:
MGM no longer the distributor for 'I Could
Never Be Your Woman'
January
23, 2007 |
It
has been published by Variety.com
in an article titled "Bauer
layoffs shrink biz", and it
says:
Bauer Martinez Entertainment is losing
steam fast. Company has just issued a
second round of layoffs and is moving
out of its office space in the MGM
tower in Century City.
Included in the exits is Martin
Barab, prexy of Lucky 50 Prods.,
the feature film production arm of Bauer
Martinez Studios. Barab was previously
the company's general counsel and prior
to that prexy of Bauer
Martinez Distribution, before the
company was renamed Bauer
Martinez Entertainment.
Bauer Martinez's three-picture
distribution deal with MGM also is kaput.
MGM is no longer releasing the third and
final film in the deal, "I Could
Never Be Your Woman" starring Michelle
Pfeiffer. Pic was slated for a March 2
domestic release.
There was also a round of layoffs at
the company in early December. The recent
cuts bring Bauer Martinez's Los Angeles-based
staff down to a dozen from 35 a little
over a year ago, when chairman-CEO Philippe
Martinez launched Bauer Martinez.
The company, which Martinez said would
be the biggest indie studio in Hollywood,
was Martinez's comeback foray after serving
jail time for fraud in France.
The
downsizing comes on the heels of disappointing
box office results for BME pics "National
Lampoon's Van Wilder: The Rise of Taj"
and "Harsh
Times," which were released
last year via MGM. Company also faced
a public dust-up with MGM over the marketing
for "Harsh
Times." (MGM had originally
expected Bauer to pay for the film's marketing,
but ultimately MGM paid. That misunderstanding,
as well as issues related to Bauer clearing
the rights to the film, caused a delay
in publicity.)
A Bauer Martinez spokesman would not
comment on the layoffs, but saidthe company
plans to proceed with distribution and
marketing of its upcoming films "The
Flock," starring Richard
Gere; "The
Amateurs," starring Jeff
Bridges; and "Fragile,"
a thriller with Calista
Flockhart.

here.
My dear pfans, I just can say really it
is sad... Thanks Juanita
for the info. |
| Pfeiffer
will be cover of 'Allure' magazine in
March
January
22, 2007 |
| According
The
Fashion Spot, a forum dedicated to
fashion-world, one of the members has
posted that Michelle Pfeiffer will get
the March cover of Allure
magazine.
We don't know if it is totally credible
although they usually get it right. You
can see the topic here.
Let's remember that Michelle was the
cover of Allure in August 2000 when What
Lies Beneath was released. The
wonderful pics were shooted by Michael
Thompson.
Thanks a lot Montse
for the info. |

'I Could Never
Be Your Woman' trailer has been retired
from YouTube web
January
10, 2006
|
|
NEWS:
Now MGM takes
down the trailer of
I Could Never Be
Your Woman from YouTube.
You can read a message, it says: "This
video has been removed at the request
of copyright owner MGM because its content
was used without permission"
As falling the past December we said
MGM was into
a troubles with the distribution of Bauer
Martinez Studios movies, we don't
now know what will happen with the the
launch of the waited film; Or if they
also took it down because they are shopping
the film to other studios.
Boxofficemojo
(maybe the most reliable movie site) still
says "Studio: Unknown" when
they said MGM before.
Thanks Juanita
for the info |

Michelle Pfeiffer
on Spanish-cover
January
4, 2006
|
|
NEWS:
Michelle Pfeiffer appears in the
Spanish magazine 'Vivir
con Júbilo' (Living with
Jubilation) of the December issue, a magazine
bounded to mature people. On cover we
can read "Michelle
Pfeiffer, 50 años"
(Michelle Pfeiffer, 50 years).
Into the mag there is a nice article
where ti's announced Michelle is near
her fifties and she returns with three
new films, but there is nothing new. They
have get the information from the net
even the pictures have been taken out
from fansites. I've reconogize it because
one of them is a picture which I retouched,
it was the cover of 20/20 magazine. Really
I'm sure of it.
I'm glad because it means a new cover
and article dedicated to Michelle, but
in the other hand I'm sorry it because
they have used the work of other people
to make a magazine to be sold... I think
simply that a credit like the url of the
site had been enought... |
