Michelle
Pfeiffer added her name to Hollywood's star-studded "Walk
of Fame" —at 6801 Hollywood Blvd in front of the Hollywood
and Highland complex— here Monday, 6th of August, 2007,
before paying tribute to her mother for helping inspire her showbusiness
career.
The 49-year-old actress, who found fame with notable roles in
"The
Fabulous Baker Boys" and "Scarface,"
was present at a ceremony to mark the unveiling of the 2,345th
star on Hollywood Boulevard.
Pfeiffer said her mother had been instrumental in her success:
"There are so many people that go into
the making of an actor's career, and first and foremost I want
to thank my mother, who isn't here right now," Pfeiffer
said. "She taught me that I could do
anything and that I should have a career before I get married.
My father taught me that you can make something of yourself if
you work hard"
Also appearing at the ceremony were her "Baker Boys"
co-star Jeff Bridges and Paul
Rudd, her co-star in the upcoming romantic comedy "I
Could Never Be Your Woman", and her family: her
husband, the producer David E. Kelley
('Ally McBeal', 'Boston
Legal' and 'Picket Fences'),
her daughter, Claudia Rose, and son,
John Henry.
"You are two of the nicest men on
the planet," she told them.
Pfeiffer has returned to the big-screen with a vengeance this
year after a five-year absence following her appearance in 2002's
"White Oleander."
And Pfeiffer shows no signs of resting on her laurels, as she
takes to the big screen this year with "Stardust"
alongside Robert De Niro and is also
appearing in musical comedy "Hairspray"
with John Travolta.

Finally Michelle Pfeiffer will
get her Walk of Fame Star in 2007.
A new group of entertainers in motion pictures, television,
radio, live theater, and recording have been selected to
receive stars on the Hollywood Walk of Fame, it was announced
June 23, 2006 by Johnny Grant,
chairman of the Walk of Fame Committee of the Hollywood
Chamber of Commerce.
These
individuals were chosen from among hundreds of nominations
to the committee at a meeting held June 16, and ratified
by the Chamber's Board of Directors.
Walk of Fame Chairman Johnny Grant
commented, “It’s a privilege
to honor these performers, and I’m sure their fans
and supporters will enjoy attending the induction ceremonies
on Hollywood Boulevard.”
The Walk of Fame recipients for the year 2007 are:

We
reported falingl past year that Michelle
Pfeiffer would get her Stard at "Walk
of Fame" this year, but we didn't known when
would be the waited event.
And now finally the event will take place the upcoming
August 6, 2007 at 11:30 a.m.
on the Walk of Fame, on Hollywood Boulevard. It will coincide
with the release of Stardust
in USA (August 10).
About this News, I've known it through Jackie,
pfan and visitor of PfeifferTheFace,
who has let me know. Although I don't know her source, so
it is not official at the moment.

This event is full of meant for all us, pfans from around
the word. This recognition for our Michelle have been long
time waited.
