Parade.com checked in with Americans to find out what they thought about the happenings at the end of this decade. The magazine has come up with an ultimate pop cuture poll that gives us people’s opinions about what was important, what was annoying and what was hot in 2009.
Among them the question “Which celebrity just keeps getting better with age?”, and the results place to Michelle Pfeiffer in a second place with the 27% of votes, behind George Clooney and ahead Meryl Streep and Denzel Washington:

Clooney and Michelle made a wonderful couple in “one finde day” and they are friends in private life.
It’s funny, at this moment they show “one fine day” on German TV :-)
Clooney, Cher, Bridges, Kidman, Spielberg, Ellen Barkin, etc, etc will vote for her at the Oscars race¡¡ All of them are friends of her, expecially Spielberg an Cher

I think I would have enjoyed “Duplicity” more had Pfeiffer and Clooney starred in it. Roberts does the same act over and over and it’s very irritating.
Yes, they did make an awesome pair, didn’t they? I always say that it would be amazing if they were to do another film together. That would be really great. And Laura, I guess the odds are against her, but don’t give up hope
@Benjamin – i saw duplicity and didnt have a clue wot woz going on but i would have seen it 10 times if Michelle had been in it with george clooney – if only because it woz them!!! lol

@Tim – I think everyone who voted was just released from prison.
@Tasha – “Duplicity” was a very good film and one you really have to pay attention to. Clive Owen was very good, the supporting cast was excellent, but Roberts was definitely the weak link. And that she managed to get a GG nomination out of it proves the Hollywood Foreign Press are a group of starf—ers! Had it been Pfeiffer and Clooney starring it would have been a hit! Gilroy is a writer/director Pfeiffer should work with in the future. “One Fine Day” is okay (could have been so much better), but worth watching if only to see them heat up the screen in their scenes together.
