And Ava had to try hard to earn everyone’s respect. She won mine in films like Mogambo, The night of the Iguana, and The barefoot contessa…
They-Grace and Ava- played the leading role in some amazing films.

In my opinion, Ava was much better actress than Grace. Ava was a goddess, Grace was very beautiful and photogenic, maybe an average actress but not a great actress

Tachu— In the extended trailers there are a few clips of some of the cut scenes— Involving Claire finding a snapshot of Madison’s ghost in the window while she takes pictures of her roses for the garden club and consulting Norman about it. Also another deleted scene of Michelle in a white dress with a candle searching the house can be seen in a trailer. It is difficult to tell if the footage exists anymore to include on a DVD, as this was released on the cusp of the DVD generation. I hope someone has the foresight to locate it!

Pfeiffer is great, and Grace was photogenic, but I think she was also a very good actress, Alex.

Although I have to admit that seeing Mogambo, even Grace’s beauty paled in comparison to Ava’s, my personal dark-haired goddess!

Frankie, this is one of the many great successes at the box office by Michelle. Only in Usa the film get 150 million of dolars¡¡

Pffeifer, the new Grace Kelly (but with far more talent¡¡, Grace was only very photogenic and a beauty, but not a very talented actress)

I love this film because it is as if Mr. Alfred Hitchcock was able to make Michelle one of his icy blonde muses. You KNOW that if he were alive in the 1980’s Michelle would be his Grace Kelly/Kim Novak hybrid.
The subltly malevolent dance of the camera, the impeccably nuanced music, and the canvas of Michelle’s eyes really make this a classic.
I just hope it will one day become more appreciated in the mainstream ( I think someday it will be), and that the deleted scenes were more readily available on the DVD editions.

This film scared the living crap out of me!
I fell in love with this film soo much I was literally dragging my friends into my house to watch it and see how brilliant it is!! :D
