InStyle site offers us an interesting look around the transformation of Michelle Pfeiffer in six steps, since her teenager years to the current time. Don’t miss it… it’s so nice to see her evolution:

Step aside, Mrs. Robinson—51-year-old Michelle Pfeiffer has become the temptress of choice for roles requiring a romance with a younger man. No doubt, it is the Cheri star’s amazing bone structure and classic style that allow her to transcend age—and trends. “She’s open to different things, but she knows what works for her,” says her longtime makeup artist, Ronnie Specter. “She is an artist—she paints and draws, so she likes colors and textures—and she can do her own makeup very well.” Her look of the moment is soft and minimal—dewy lips, flushed cheeks, peachy eyes—and her curls are just as low-key. In the words of her hairstylist, Alan Dangerio: “Plain and simple, she’s breathtaking.”

1976:

While bagging groceries in El Toro, California, Michelle had a career revelation: “I couldn’t stand stenography school, I couldn’t stand junior college, this woman was bitching about her cantaloupes, and I said to myself, ‘Acting.’”

1982

Michelle took a passion for her craft—and her hair!— to new heights: “My twenties were all about acting,” she has said. “Whenever I was studying acting, singing or dance, I was happy.”

1985

She tried out a natural look in hopes of getting cast against type. “I was careful not to wear a lot of makeup,” she told In Style. “I’d show up for interviews in men’s clothing.”

2001

She played an attorney in the award-winning I Am Sam, but had no desire to be back in the spotlight. “Stardom looks right on some people,” she has said. “It wouldn’t on me.”

2007

Pfeiffer reemerged with Hairspray, Stardust and newfound confidence. “Aging happens to every single one of us,” she has said. “Once you accept that, it unburdens you.”

2009

The Cheri star tells In Style that she has never felt hotter: “Part of feeling sexy is feeling comfortable in your own skin, and less inhibited, and that goes along with getting older.”
