Thanks to the launch of Chéri in Uk and Ireland, promotional interviews have been coming with not stop… here another one from the Associated Press made during the promotional interviews at the 59th Berlin Film Festival.

Transcription Interview

MP: This whole age thing and , you know, the society deciding what’s acceptable and what isn’t, you know, it’s, um, really open to debate in my mind and I know of a couple who just got married and she’s 20 years younger then he is and they’re perfectly suited fir each other. And in many ways he’s the more mature one of the two of them.

I guess I bought into what society and the media tell you that aging is about and tha5t it’s going to be so hard , and this and that , um and the truth is that it comes, you turn 50 and you’re the same person and you just count your blessings and realize how lucky you are and , um, it’s a good thing.
