Ashton Kutcher about Michelle Pfeiffer in 'Personal Effects'

Such as we have reported lots of times, Personal Effects was officially released on DVD yesterday, May 12, 2009.  You can pick up your copy at your DVD Store. You can see the details of this USA edition at Amazon.com.

Here, finally, we have found this little quote of Ashton Kutcher about Michelle Pfeiffer during the filming set of Personal Effects. Besides you can see in the video one of the torridest scenes in the movie… enjoy!

It was amazing working with Michelle Pfeiffer, I mean, she’s a three times Oscar nominated actress that when you stand across from her you know that everything you get from her is authentic.”

You can read this quote among others at “Quotes: They Have Said…”

Thanks Adelutza for the transcription quote.

I feel so bad for MP in this scene. She literally has nothing to work with. And Ashton is pretty lame in the interview, he’s more boring than the movie. I thought he’d be more like his persona on Punk’d (although I found that side of him wildly annoying). There is nothing redeeming about that guy. Well I guess besides his looks.

I saw the movie. I did not want to see it online until it came out on DVD because well – I am picky like that. Out of all Pfeiffer’s movies,I mean she gave a superb perfomance in this one. She embodied a very gloomy/angry/depressed character in a way that I’ve never seen her perform. She sort of reminded me of Frankie in Frankie&Johnny, but her perfomance was cunning and GREAT. The movie itself was fairly decent, thought it was a bit slow at times; it definetly looks indie but I do think that it should’ve been released in theatres. I am not a fan of Kutcher but his performace was also decent. He personified a character whose loss drove him to confusion and depression and he did do a good job. The film itself definetly needed work but it was awesome. I am still amazed by the brilliance of Pfeiffer’s character and the film was rather interesting to watch.

well the movie was indeed intense, very dramatic. michelle was amazing, as always. but i don’t think Ahton was very good. i agree that he looked like he wasn’t into michelle at all. and she was just kind of throwing herself at him. pity
